Tax Bill Due, $9,815,000,000,000.00, Pay Up Slacker

2 October 2007

That’s $30,000 per citizen, not voter. The national debt has been rising by an average of $1.36 billion per day since September of last year.

I have to wonder if this A reason why our dollar is dropping in value against all the other world currencies. I know the sub-prime lender market is a large factor, but it seems to me over the long term this extremely excessive national debt has got to devalue the US Greenback. Long known as the currency of safety and stability……….or used to be.

Congress is raising the debt limit, increasing it by $850 billion to $9.815 trillion. The Senate approved the plan on a 53-42 vote Thursday. That’s $9,815,000,000,000.00.

How come none of our elected servants are talking about this? Why don’t you ask them?

Too busy running for President I suspect for one of them.  Why don’t you drop him a line and ask him to report for work?

If our servants had to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act as they have forced all of American business to do, they would be in jail.

If incompetence was a crime……..
