Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone carve pumpkins for Halloween: ‘That’s what real ACTION guys do’
The late Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are carving pumpkins for Halloween this year. But for most of us, carving pumpkins is just another day at the office. (For those of us who have actually worked in the Halloween industry, that is.)
But, for the two iconic muscle-men, that job is no joke. Schwarzenegger and Stallone carved pumpkins together, and Schwarzenegger says it was a bonding experience.
“We spent a lot of time carving pumpkins together,” he told PEOPLE magazine. “I enjoyed it. I think I have a small penis, so it was a lot of fun.”
In an interview with the Daily News last month, Schwarzenegger also described his carving process in detail. He said, “We carved pumpkins in the kitchen of the house we were renting, and we had an outhouse in the backyard, and we carved pumpkins with the garden tools we had. It’s a really old-fashioned way to do Halloween. It’s fun, and it’s something you’ll never forget.”
Stallone, on the other hand, declined to make a pumpkins-for-Halloween pact. “Why not? I will carve pumpkins at home. I will. But in the end, I have to go do Halloween or something. So this is it,” he told the Daily News at the time.
So, yeah, we’re going to be spending a lot of time carving pumpkins this year.
