The story of Emma Watson is not the one most people might have expected.

The Harry Potter star’s relationship with Robbie Coltrane, an ex-boyfriend she dated for four years from the age of 11 to 18 before marrying someone else, often gets overlooked in her 20-year-long career.

Watson, 35, is a great role model for others, but she doesn’t do this for herself. She never sought out attention or accolades for herself; she is simply a role model.

“I did want to be famous,” said Watson. “I just wasn’t brave enough to try.

“People tell me stories about Robbie, and I do understand that people want to pay attention. He’s a great character. I admire him for so many reasons. He’s a great friend; he’s intelligent, funny and smart. He’s a great guy. But to the world, Robbie is Robbie and I am Emma.

“I think we could be the best of friends. I’m so glad we were able to just be happy and have each other back and do what makes us happy together.
